Our belief

We believe it is important to know that you are dealing with a company that has yours and your clients’ best interests at heart. Every floor we install needs to be treated in the same manner, whether receiving incentive carpets or significant upgrades, as it will ultimately become someone’s home.

“I can highly recommend Saint Flooring. I am about to get some work done on my own house — that’s a recommendation you can trust!”

Our success

Our success is based on our continuous improvement and investment in our loyal and focused workforce. Our growth has come not through a direct sales team, but through the dedication of Saint operation and installation teams, providing excellent communication and delivering every time.

Our History

2008

Birth of the business

Steve Turner took a leap of faith and started the business on the 31st January 2008. Alongside him was Justine Seaton, our very first and longest serving employee.

They each worked long hours to build our customer base and lay the rock-solid foundations of the business we see today.

2010

Winsford Depot

To cope with the rapid growth, the business moved into its first warehouse at Oasis Business Park, Winsford. We believed it would be sufficient for several years to come…

2012

Winsford Depot (part 2)

However, we began to gain real momentum and moved through the gears after outgrowing the Oasis Business Park Unit. We moved to a much larger unit, just a stone’s throw away at Unit 2a Pineapple Park, which we still occupy today.

2013

Saint Interiors

In addition to our burgeoning range of floorings, in July 2013 we began to offer the dressing of show homes. With Lucy Turner at the creative helm, Saint Interiors swiftly gained a reputation for quality show home installations.

2013

Saint Flooring (South) Limited

One of Saint Winsford’s most important clients opens new developments across Peterborough and Cambridge. In March 2013, Saint Flooring’s Southern operation was conceived, located at 24 Eldon Way, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

2014

Winsford Depot (part 3)

The business continued to blossom so we had to take on a further unit in Winsford to accommodate the growth. Unit 17, Road One Winsford became a satellite depot to Unit 2 Pineapple Park.

2016

Redditch Depot

The move to Pineapple Park was swiftly followed by further expansion with our 2nd depot, located at the iO Centre Industrial Park in Redditch to increase our geographical coverage and aid further expansion.

2017

Nottingham Depot

With the procurement of new clients and regions, Saint Flooring expanded further into the Midlands by opening another depot at Unit 7 Rani Drive.

2018

Saint Flooring (South) Expansion

As a consequence of the success of the Southern operation, and with the support of the largest and most prestigious 4 and 5 star developers in the UK, the Southern region quickly outgrew the premises. In August 2018, we moved into a 13,000 ft2 unit in St Neots which we still occupy today.

2019

Winsford Depot (part 4)

It was decided that in order to improve efficiency and communication, we would no longer be split over 2 depots 50 yards apart in Winsford and embarked on the single biggest project and investment in the history of Saint Flooring. We installed a full-length mezzanine floor to accommodate the Directors, Finance and Interiors teams, and incorporated a brand new boardroom with tele-conferencing facilities.

2019

Recycling Project

The flooring sector is often seen as a “dirty” industry, with over 400,000 tonnes of waste carpet arising each year in the UK. Saint Flooring wanted to focus on how we deal with our waste with a view to divert from landfill as much as possible. Balers were installed at Winsford/St Neots/Nottingham to separate and bale waste ready for responsible recycling.

2019

National Vinyl Centre Redditch

Each year we were wasting thousands of pounds on cuts of vinyl from our suppliers. To drive costs down and improve the service we offer, we invested in a state of the art cutting machine and loading table and installed it at the Redditch depot. Now all depots send their vinyl orders to Redditch via a sophisticated internal network, who can cut up to 200 units per day and distribute next day throughout the Saint Group.

2019

Winsford Depot (Part 5)

To further accommodate the substantial double-digit growth, we took over the adjoining unit, Unit 1 Pineapple Park, to create a multi-functional flexible warehousing unit.

2020

Saint Interiors Manufacturing Unit

It was identified that we could improve our service and lead times to our customers by bringing the curtain making in-house. In January 2020, we completed a manufacturing unit built to exacting
specification to add another string to Saint’s already impressive bow.

2023

Saint Interiors Expansion

Due to continued growth within our interiors department we invested in a new stand alone unit.  This bespoke premises will assist them to build upon their existing identity and accommodate further expansion.
